INTENTIONAL PHILOSOPHY

The nature of our business is based on intellectual capital. In our case we consider ourselves innovators and that demands a good explanation of our value proposition. It also calls for illustrations of why we are different and our competitive advantage.

While the economy has shifted from factory centered to customer centered, the dominant organizational model continues to be based upon a manufacturing or product-marketing mind-set. Since this is true, products are traditionally viewed as tangible. In contrast, ours are intangible.

Each economic age creates new or different ways of thinking and behaving. For example, the epicenter of the agrarian age was land, while in the industrial age it was factories. In the late twentieth century the information age emerged, centered on the computer and its hardware and software. Today, in the knowledge age, the focus is the human being. Unfortunately, in this new era we are still using the formulas of the industrial age. Intentional Leadership Institute’s technology addresses this discontinuity and provides individuals and organizations with the tools to thrive in the knowledge age.
